Title: 4 Link Coil Over
Post by: britcars on September 16, 2019, 10:17:32 PM
I'm running Bill Guzman's 4 link setup.....no issues with it, performs as advertised.  However, when I'm riding solo (about 75% of the time) the driver's side settles about 1/2 - 3/4".  Has anyone adjusted the left side coil over to compensate?  Would there be any negative effect?

What is the strength of the coil over springs ? Maybe too soft ?

They are the stock springs Werner.  I believe they are 165 lb.  The car rides close to level (slight lean to left) but drops somewhat with me in the driver's seat.  My thought was to increase the tension on the left coil to bring the car closer to level with me aboard.

That's the beauty of adjustable height shocks - tailor them to get correct chassis ride height!
