I only have previous British Car experience with MGs, but have had some "hands on" with Buicks. I found this diamond in the rough, cheap. She's a 1970 Rover 3500s in need of some serious TLC.

I bought it so cheap that if it turns out to be fubar I can part it out or scrap it and recover my investment.
By the way, what is the wheel pattern on this beauty, as in what other wheels interchange so I can take a couple of roadworthy tires for towing? And, what do I need to disconnect to safely tow it with a tow-dolly? Rear half-shafts? Thanks, Thom.

Problem you may have is the dia of the wheel centres, and the offset, so this may not be much help!
Towing, if manual. nothing. Not sure about the BW35 auto, I'd undo the propshaft (drive shaft) at the rear.

I'm confused now. The car that I'm planning to go check out appears to have 4 lug wheels on it. American vs European diff maybe?

Maybe not, kinda hard to tell by the pic.
TC 2000 pattern ? DeDion rear end and rocker arm susp., up front, shocks operate "backwards", as in British ?
The 4 lug is very easy to measure to get the PCD.
