Be careful out there
Sorry to see that Don, Just how did it happen.
Was working on the Rover engine on it's stand and I needed to rotate the motor to work on the oil pan side.
I forgot how heavy top heavy it is with the heads on it and it spun really quick and I ended up with my wrist trapped against the flywheel and the stand.
All I could do just to move it a little with my other hand to free my arm.
I walked around the room seeing stars and muttering niceties .
After the stars cleared I looked at my hand .I could swivel my wrist and move my fingers without any pain I figured I was good to go
Continued working and after about 20 minutes the sleeve on my hoody pulled up a bit and I had an 1 ½ tumor on my wrist
Well that's not good I thought.
Nothing is broken just really bruised and swollen.
The bad news. I did this on Tuesday and yesterday I had to start ripping the deck boards off my exterior deck.
Timing sucks
Don - sounds like you got lucky you didnt break some fingers or shatter your wrist!
