Of course I'd have had to go the Richard route with turbo v6 to replace the VW motor. If only it'd been closer.

Could have helped you with that, Rob. Baltimore is only 7 hours up the Interstate. ;)

That would have helped. I only ran across it about an hour before the auction ended. Would have needed someone with a tow vehicle & place to store it... was too much to try & coordinate. I could fly out to close the deal & help get it somewhere but I wouldn't be in a position to trailer it back to TX till sometime this summer.

We could have worked it out. I have a Silverado Z71 & could have borrowed a trailer.

I'm thinking you really weren't supposed to drag this one home. ;)
