September 2,3,4. Anyone here going? Last year only British V8 forum folks AFAIK were Calvin, Curtis and myself. Took the V6 MG last year, but the Rover seems to be running well and has proven to be a comfortable long distance ride after a 2400+ mile drive for event in NE Washington in May so have entered it this year. Love the way the event officialdom group "unusual marques" into one large class...! Heres a pic of Curtis', Calvin's and my car from last year.

Years ago I attended it on a regular basis, we haven't gone for several years now though. Back then they would allow the featured margue to run on the track at lunch time behind a pace car. The pace car would usually open it up a bit on the straights so that was fun! They would also have a well attended auto-cross course as well.
Do they still have these events, or is it pretty much a show/shine type of show?
Bill
Heres the info if anyones interested.http://abfm-pdx.com/2016
The ABFM website isn't accepting my registration request, so I'll guess I'll have to register in-person at the show.
And I know Michael Cubbon (a.k.a. "limey222") and Gina are excited to be attending this year with their MGB V6.

Does this mean that we won't be seeing you at the Seneca Lodge the following weekend?
Sadly, I can't be in two places at once. On Sept 10-11, I'll be over near Albany - it's so close and yet so far! - I'll be celebrating the wedding of one of Lisa's second cousins. I tried to get the wedding rescheduled, but...
Ah the Seneca Lodge....stayed their a couple of times in years past...lots of WG history there too...

Mike....Nobody stays there - they just drink there!......and they serve up a mean plate of BBQ backribs on Saturday.
I'll be there most nights (Sept.9-11) while watching some SVRA vintage racing during the day!

Daimler Trucks' annual employee car show was held two weeks ago, on the roof of our new parking garage. The Sports Car class featured a whole bunch of great cars including a Lamborghini and also a third-gen RX7-LS1 conversion. This photo was taken as the show was breaking up. That's Lisa and our dear friends Kirsten and Ryan. The new headquarters building, the Willamette river, and Portland's Forest Park can all be seen in the background. Downtown is across the river, to the left...
