Fluid film will work just fine.
You will need to apply it often as it's a little thin and tends to be pushed out of the joint.
I generally use moly chain lube in this situation. It's a heavy grease in a solvent carrier. It sprays on thin and works it's way into the joint, the solvent evaporates leaving a very durable moly grease film behind. It works well in lots of other applications as well, door hinges are my favorite!
The best way however, in my mind, is to seal the joints with urethane cups. I think Prothane makes them if I remember right. And drill them to take a grease fitting.
This keeps the dirt out and alows you to flush the joint with fresh grease from the inside out.

Live like you mean it.

I put some on my Milano a while ago.
Pretty sure that there is a part # on them.
I'll jack it up on monday and have a look.

Cheers

Urethane would be nice, but these work too.

They sort of do. Easy for them to get damaged or in a position where they do not seal though.
