Title: Aerial Atom, da bomb
Post by: roverman on January 20, 2016, 11:14:03 AM
I think it's British ?  Hi powered/overpriced dune buggy, for the street ? Only $79k, US. with 325 hp. Is this what lean manufacturing has come to ?  I suppose I should reserve judgment, till I drive one ?  Yeah....that's going to happen.  Is it just me, that's to old and under financed ?  Your views please.  roverman.

Must be worth it, they now have competition.
Betcha Jim S. could build a better one.

Not sure if you have seen this but it is certainly entertaining to drive but nowhere to put the shopping - but who cares

I have actually considered building a dedicated autocross car with bonded aluminum/foam construction. Both GM and Ford have excellent all aluminum 4 cylinders that can make insane HP when forced induction is applied. A power/weight somewhere in the 2's does have some appeal to me. I would have to get some little guy to drive it because the car would gain 25% in weight if I stepped in it.
