Title: Very fast MG
Post by: 67MGBV8 on September 19, 2008, 08:37:25 PM
I just returned from the Bonneville Salt Flats where I took this picture of a very fast (223 Mph) MG wagon.  The owner claims it was a works engined dedicated race machine. It is powered by a 351 cu.in. Ford Windsor V8.  It came up just 2 Mph short of the world record in it's class; "C" Classic Modified Coupe.  There are about a Thousand classes to run in!  It makes me wonder what the fastest speed is for a modified MGB, and what's more, It made me start thinking about putting a roll-cage in my conversion...
