I thought you might enjoy a few PICs of the body mods I am making to my car. I am in the process of doing a 5.0 V8 and world class T5 conversion on my 1980 B. I promised myself i would get the V8 in and the car driving before starting major body work, but oh well!
One of my goals with the car is to pay homage to those great 60s British cars with American V8s in them, like Shelby Cobras and Sunbeam Tigers. I wanted to build an aggressive looking car, no sleeper here.
The car will have Huffaker flares and a 1967 427 Vette Stinger hood treatment that will be bonded on to a fiberglass hod that is on the way from David Craddock. The marker lights and stainless side moulding will be removed. With the other suspension mods I have already made, I think I will be able to get 245 50 16s under the rear with perfect backspace and will probably run 235 or 225 55 16s up front. I am thinking the final color will be a medium blue, reminiscent of the 60s Cobra blue, with a silver, white or black zipper stripe.

Also Tim at Morspeed Performance fabbed up that Triumph GT6 style teardrop bulge and Steve Lilves provided the flares. There are some great Fibergalss fabricators in this hobby!

It's our wheel arch system, will work with anyones flares and requires no welding.
