My TR6 comes with the factory hardtop. I going to start working on removing paint and sanding to metal. I want to remove the front windshield and back and side windows from the hardtop. Can I go to harbor frieght and purhase a standard tools to remove the windshield clips? If not, does anybody have experience removing front and back windshields?
I have a tr6 with hardtop and removed all glass. It is just held in by the rubber there are no clips. Cut the edge of the rubber and out they come. FYI the rear rubber for the hardtop is very hard to find. You might want to try and save it.

I removed the back windshield by doing and you said. The rubber is so cracked and brittle that I couldnt save it. i think The Roadster Factory, Moss Motors and Victoria British all carry the rubber for the hard tops
Glad it worked I did mine 10 years ago and got the last rear hardtop OEM from London TR shop name escapes me. New stuff allegedly not as good. You might try McGregor I think is the name in Canada. He often has strange stuff. Also I never got around to putting the plastic chrome strip in my windshield. don't think it matters much. I like the hardtop very few around and it stiffens up the car rides better and quiet. You can make your own headliner out of nice Vinyl. Just be sure to use super strong adhesive 3m not good enough.

My Home Depot sells it.
I used weldwood contact adhesive landau top and trim HHR solvent industrial grade. Got off Internet but don't remember where. Just type this stuff in Goggle and should find a source. Have to buy a gallon and I used about 1/2 half on my top. Holds very well no drpped areas in a year of cold and heat. Paint on with a brush. Spray adhesive for me has not worked. Also hard to control overspray. I heard about if from a jaguar restoration log.
