Title: Nor sure what to make of this, was an MGA
Post by: Richard/SIA on February 17, 2014, 04:22:37 AM
On CL in Sacramento.

Might be a bargain?

Matter of taste I suppose.

Well, not much MGA left, but with the exception of the front arches which look overly bulbous, I rather like it.
The standard of finish looks excellent.

Agreed on the front fenders (look like modified vw) otherwise interesting...

Can't deny that the car has style.
Not my taste though.
The MGA lines unmolested make for a beautiful machine to me.
The owner clearly put some time and love into it so cudos to him/her.
Can't make sense of the price.
It's a destroyed MGA so that value is gone.
And it's a highly focused niche market hot rod.
So you have to find that "one guy".
Someone will buy it ..........some day.
But it's such a highly personalized car that it's likely better to keep it and enjoy it.

Cheers
Fred
