Title: Finally took the B to its first show.
Post by: flitner on September 02, 2012, 12:32:14 PM
Had a great time and alot of attention was drawn to the car, as soon as it got parked there was many questions asked about it before I could even crack open a beer. I was approached by Mr. Rick Zink of British Car Club of Miami and he went over the car with great detail, the V8 Healy next to it is a glass race car body and tubular chassis with a small block Ford mated to a C4, The Blue T-bucket is a good friends that started his build about a year after I started mine.

Hey John . Way to go. I followed your build and likedall kinds of things you did. LOts of car knowledge and the car looks great. Must be nice to not have to worryabout minus 10 celcius and heating the garage to work !. Congratulations Tim

Thanks! I guess the trade off would be all the high humidity and having to derust everything time and time again from rain, sweat or beers.
It was a great learning curve, using so many great ideas from here to come up with a goal, and follow through. Plus learning metalshaping was a bonus as well, I'm no pro by any means but more of a Jack of all trades.
I hope to get some time to complete a few things and get the how it was done article going soon.
Thank You All for your support and inspiration!
