Title: My L67 Supercharger modifications

I thought I would share the small modification to the supercharger for my Triumph TR6 L67 swap

I shortend the nose of the M90 Gen V supercharger .

I turned down a new shaft  that is about 4" shorter then the original.

Pressed on the bearing. The knurling on the shaft holds the drive flange

I cut down the housing on the mill and machined the new bearing pocket.

The Vortech 2A033-032 32 Tooth 35mm Supercharger Drive Cog Pulleys finally arrived so I can now start on the supercharger housing for the jack-shaft. The jack-shaft adapter is made from a 1" thick piece of aluminum, with a pocket for the sealed bearing. The housing clamps onto the nose that I machined into the neck of the supercharger. I ended up making a new supercharger shaft to fit the 20mm keyed opening of the 8mm 32 tooth cog pulleys.

Test fitting the shaft and belts. A belt tensioner will fit in to the back of the jackshaft adapter.

I am working on the serpentine belt design. A separate belt will be used for the water pump-alternator and the supercharger this will allow the engine to still run if I have a supercharger failure.

Starting to design the brackets for the serpentine end of the jackshaft. I print out the design on paper to make sure it fits before machining piece out of aluminum. The bracket will be designed to allow the installation of a intercooler at a later date.

Looks quite good and the M-90 will work well with that engine. Boost should be reasonable with those pulley sizes.

Looks good! Very clever mounting the S/C reversed!

Edit: Mark,

Looking at your pics again, (you may already know this) I think that you will need to drive your idler shaft in the counter clockwise direction. The S/C needs to rotate clockwise when viewed from the drive end of the S/C. The counter clockwise rotation of the idler shaft would be easy to accomplish by running the drive pulley on your idler shaft off of the back side of the belt.
They make double sided serpentine belts that should work well for this purpose.
