I bought a new master cylinder for the MG after my original crapped out and could not be rebuild succesfully. Of course the particular model I bought does NOT include the rear banjo fitting on it and I've already THROWN AWAY my old master...grrrr! Of course trying to explain what I need to the guy at NAPA is a complete waste of time. I don't want to return the master as it looks to be of good quality and I got it for a good price, AND it took the better part of 3 weeks to ship to me. The master is the '68 to 72 dual line without servo style. I can't find anything to replace it with anywhere and I'm getting tired of delay after delay after DELAY with this car!! I want to drive it this century. Any ideas? The picture I'm including here was pulled from Ebay for a similar master that appears to have the correct hardware already installed. Sigh. :(
I ONLY NEED THE REAR BANJO FITTING ASSEMBLY. (Banjo bolt, fitting, 2 copper washers, designed to accept bubble flare)

I recommend you get in touch with Dave Headley at Fab-Tek, he builds a lot of MG race cars and might have the fittings you need or would know of a good substitute. http://www.fast-mg.com/

Check with Sportcar Craftsmen, Arvada (303) 422-9272, The Motorway, Ft. Collins, (970) 472-8141 or British Sports Werks, Greeley - (970) 674-1710. One of the places should have the banjo fitting you need. Sportcar Craftsmen is probably the closest.

Post a want ad on the MG experience board. Someone is bound to have a spare.
In the UK this type of fitting is generally stocked by most hydraulic hose stores, these stores supply the agricultural and construction industry with replacement hoses. I am sure you will find one near you, we live in the country and there are at least 6 in a ten mile radius from me. I think the main US brand is Parker. If they do not have them in stock they normally have them next day. They also make air con hoses.
Thank you all for your replies, especially Allen. Your note here got me in touch with Chris Jones at Sportscar Craftsmen in Arvada (How did I not know about this place years ago??????!) They found me a fitting with no problem. I'll be sure to send some business their way!
I'm one step closer and will be on the road here very shortly. I'll definitely attend this years's conclave gathering like every year, except I'll have my car this time. :)
