Randall welcome to the forum! I am glad you are a TR6 guy as we need more TR guys to balance out the preponderance of MGB guys!! I do take my hat off in respect to all the MGB guys so I mean no animosity whatsoever!!
You project looks really interesting and hopefully it will be on the road soon. Your rear suspension looks quite cool. IMHO you need to look at reinforcing the frame at the rear as the weakest part of the TR6 frame is the bottleneck just in front of the differential. It is in this area where the frame will twist.
Looking forward to hearing from you often and seeing lots of pictures.
Cheers
Byron
I am with Byron. We need more TR6 guys. I like the work you have completed so far. It looks to be well thought out.

I'm excited about this build thread, Randall!
I'd like to hear more about the 300zx rear suspension and how you modified the frame/susp to fit. Were you able to use the stock 300 rear subframe welded to the TR's frame (with mods to the TR frame of course)?
I had to narrow the 300zx rear end by 12 inches. All of the control arms are adjustable tubular stock replacements. My intention is to get as close as I can to symetric and adjust any differences with the added adjustability I gained with the control arms. I obviously had to modify the frame a lot. I added gussets at all of the intersections and have continued to box all of the frame after modifications. In addition I have fabricated a roll bar and door struts to help add rigidity to the body/ frame combo.

Do you have any addtl photos of your IRS? I am doing the same setup. I was going with a Ford 9" but decided to use a R200 from a 1990 300zx instead. When I purchased the rear end the guy threw in the IRS. So I changed directions and I am now going with a IRS. I have been trying to figure out the deminsions. I trying to decide whether to use Goodparts CV axles or fab something else. I would like to talk to you about the subframe setup and other items like the brakes hubs ..etc
Thanks
