Title: When is a transaxle better ? Anybody ?
Post by: roverman on March 10, 2012, 05:23:23 PM
"Maybe" for Hemi Healey ? Standard RX 7 diff. will likely prove, too light. What then.?  Maybe Porshe 996(six sppeed) or ?  Corvette C5/C6, not a good choice as major floor surgery and moving seats forward 8+" required. This is because 23.5" axle centerline to torque tube mounting face.  I like the value/ strength to weight ratio, and improved weight distribution, of these basic designs.  Anybody ? Thanks, roverman.
