Nice in many respects but how many are they going to sell at in the US/Canada at >$80K?
How many are going to sell here at that price ?
Didn't work out so well with the RV8, what's to think this is different? Sell them to Japan maybe? Or China?

Why do they consider the GT to have better aerodynamics? I figure that big windshield, alone, pushes way more air.
Carl, I think it's because of the turbulence behind the windshield on a roadster that the GT doesn't have. I know that most Bs and Midgets are faster with the top up than with it down. Found that true at our local yearly top speed run on a local airport taxiway.
0 to 60 in 5.1 seconds is very respectable and I don't doubt that the Miata powerhouse will give it reliability; nice car, but just a little too late and pricey.
I suppose since there are only to be 50 of them that will generate a certain appeal, and I expect they will be liked by the purists. Should be a decent enough car and fitted out well, and I hope Ken is successful with it.

Perhaps it's the name "Costello" their buying. Aside from that, what kind of car can WE build for $80k ? Yes I know, there is the labor factor-but ?. I expect to have 10-12k in Hemi Healey,(upgades) and it "should" spank a ZO6 Vette, everywhere. Simple math, hp vs weight. Cheers, roverman.
Should be able to build a "Roadmaster" for that money without much trouble, or should I say, hire it built.

I would put a Chevy ecotech out of a cobalt SS that is a lot more motor for the money. When you turn the torque management off one of those motors you really wake it up.

To David, (mgbrv8) stay tuned to this forum as the unexpected begins to reveal itself. Only the shadow knows!
The forgoing sentence that is shrouded with mystery should be evident by Springs end. Nuff said.
