Title: now for something completely different... ever heard of a "Pooper"?
Post by: Moderator on September 29, 2011, 05:22:23 PM
Porsche engine + Cooper chassis = Pooper

Here's a nice example: <a href="http://www.britishracecar.com/CameronHealy-Cooper-Porsche.htm">Cameron Healy's Cooper-Porsche Racecar</a>, circa ~1954

Can't say that I have.  Sleek little racer, though!

I love the car, but I could do without the Porsche paint job and sticker. In my opinion, it's more Cooper than Porsche but I'm pretty sure its owner doesn't feel that way. Anyhow, I forgot to say: if you guys know any Porsche enthusiasts please recommend the article to them. Hell, recommend the article to anyone and everyone. BritishRaceCar gets about 450 or 500 visitors a day, which in the grand scheme of the internet means it's still in the "best kept secret" category.
