Title: short throw clutch?
Post by: phongshader on September 19, 2011, 11:43:48 AM
I need to replace the stock late '80s 26 spline Camaro clutch I have between my 215 and t5. With the stock clutch my Howe htob just barely disengages the clutch and I've been running into troubles with the seals wearing out very quickly. I just ran the 2011 California Melee and lost my clutch on the 1st day and drove the rest of the 800 miles with out a clutch. Does anyone have a recommendation of a good short throw 10.4" clutch? I've been looking at this clutch http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ZZZ-30043S/ but don't know if it would be any better than what I already have.
Thanks

I suggest talking to "tech", at Kennedy Engineering in Palmdale, Ca. They have a very good  reputation. Good Luck, roverman.
