Title: Why do the parts companies do this sort of stuff?!?!
Post by: rficalora on July 17, 2011, 10:50:07 PM
Got replacement hub assemblies for the ones that were in my IRS -- bearings were shot on one & just starting to show a little movement in the other.  They're Chevy S10 4x4 hubs -- originals were threaded for 1/2" coarse thread.  Raybestos replacements are threaded for Metric M12 1.75 pitch.  Try finding class 10.9 (metric grade 8 equiv) M12x1.75x90mm bolts on a weekend.  Errrggghhh!

I know. That's exactly the way I felt when I learned they quit making 2 piece Mustang hub and rotor assemblies and they were all one piece.
