can anyone suggest the best car manual for a 1960's mgb gt? and does anyone know the exact length of the mgb stock transmission from bell housing to shifter?

I'll be using a GM early model T 5 for my Rover 3.5 conversion project. T 5's out of Firebirds or Camaros seem to be a popular choice because of the 5 gear ratios. Adaptor plates & bellhousings are available from D&D Development for the GM T 5s.
Good luch with your project.

Matt,
Any store that sells Haynes manuals should be able to get you one for the MGB. They were pretty good back when these cars were new. They are also far less costly then the factory manuals. Both can be purchased from Moss or others. The guys in the shop use the Haynes for most of the MG projects in teh shop but for a little more info, the factory stuff is pulled out too.
