I'm pretty active over on the MG Experience forum, but I'm new here.
I have a car I bought as a rolling tub, so I'm kind of building it to my specs. Lots of interesting things when I'm done: tilt column, upgraded heater fan and seats from a Fiero, steel dash from a '64 B, chrome bumper conversion, Datsun wheels... you get the idea.
I had planned on putting in a Rivergate kit with my 1800 engine, but I found out I needed to get a new head. When I started adding it all up (new head, Rivergate kit, headers and exhaust, etcetera) I decided I would go with a T5 attached to a GM V6.
Found a T5 from a V8 and my choice of V6 bell housings (one from a Camaro and one from an S-10) and I got a great deal on a freshly rebuilt 3.1. Bad news is, I just found out it is probably from a FWD.
Now I'm stuck, and I'm not sure what to do, so I'm here for some ideas.

Contact Dann Wade in Dayton. He's been doing those for awhile and has some slick new aftermarket parts to make it easy.
Can we see a photo and some specifics on your fan mod please?
