Beautiful car... check it out! Peter Linn's Holden V6 Powered 1955 Austin Healey 100 (21 photos)

(Note: the Holden V6 is an Australian-market Buick 3800.)

I like the Ward Special it is parked next to in the feature. Any more details of it.

Wow!

I was looking at the pictures of Peters conversion and thought, what a nicely done, tidy and well thought out job. It's a bit of a shame that such a prime example was modified, but great work.

And then I came to the before pictures.

I was stunned to say the least!
For Peter to see the potential in that pile of scrap and the pull it off was phenominal.

Beautiful car, terrific craftsmanship and tons of respect from me.

Well done Peter!

Cheers
Fred

You would have to know what you were doing to bring that car back to life. Congratulations to both men. I'm sure the car is very happy. Great work and looks super.

Cudos to you as well Bob.

Hello Peter,

Hopefully you get this email. I just bought a BN1 with no engine or transmission(no doors, fenders ,hood, trunk, or windshield either for that matter). I am thinking about a L36 3.8 from a 1995-2002 Chevrolet Camaro which is (I believe) the same as your Holden. I would love to know more about your car. It looks like you installed a new firewall. What that to replace damage or for the engine? Did you have to cut out any frame or foot wells? I guess somebody else did they wiring? Any thoughts as to that? Motor mounts, radiator, throttle cable? Any height problems? Any pics pics of the install would be great. BTW, I am located 60 north of Austin, Texas. I really appreciate any advice you have to give.

Good Day,

Robby
