I'm trying to connect the Austin Healey speedo cable to my T5Z. Anyone have any suggestions how to do it?

D&D sells a speedo cable for a T5 (Ford or GM) to mate to a typical MGB Smiths mechanical speedo, If the Healey gauges are anything similar to the MGB, then that's one possibility.

Europa Spares at http://www.europaspares.com stocks several varieties of adapters. I've purchased a number of items from them over the years and service has always been spot on. Prices are reasonable even factoring in the exchange rate. A small part like the adapter will come via post.

Just an idea Rick,
why not switch to an electronic speedo?
No more messing with gears trying to get it to read right. No more broken cables. No more swapping parts out just because you changed tire sizes or gear ratios.
To keep the stock look I take Autometer guages and build them into the stock Smiths housings

Other than the big bezzels and the carbon fiber that I used on this dash the guages look stock. All of them, even the small ones are Auto meter under the skin.

Nice idea, Fred. That really looks great. If you check my build, http://forum.britishv8.org/read.php?13,8264, I've already managed to adapt all the original Smiths gauges with the exception of the speedo, so I'm probably going to stick with the old fashioned stuff, Thanks for the posting, though.
