My project is almost done. I went with the modern Toyota straight six conversion instead so I have a lot of brand new BOP V8 and other misc. parts for sale. I like to offer it to you guys here on this site before putting all the stuff on ebay, here goes (all are brand new except when noted):
- Stock V8 radiator mounts (pair)
- Remote oil filter adapter with lines
- Headers, painted mild steels (the type that goes through the fenders, few scratches due to transport)
- Chrome water pump pulley
- V8 Radiator (some dings, again due to transport)
- Clutch master cylinder (74 MGB, CB)
- Brake master cylinder (74 MGB, CB)
- Holley 390 cfm (8007)
I live in Thailand so I can either mail it from here or if you are not in a hurry I can carry the items over to the US and ship them from there when I go to work or you can pick them up here and take a nice vacation at the same time or whatever.
You can also take the whole lot. Any reasonable price will do. I take paypal. Thanks.

Arayan,
I may be interested in some of your left-over V8 parts.
I'm working on an SCCA GT2 MG RV8 project, and might be able to use the following to help complete my project:
Remote filter adaptor w/lines
Chrome water pump pulley
Holly 390 cfm carb
Questions:
Is the water pump pulley for a single fan belt system ?
Is the Holley carb a conventional 4 barrel type that fits most Rover/Buick 3.5 alum. V8 "4 barrel outlet" intake manifolds ?
These parts should be easy to ship.
How much $$ do you need for these items ?
Thank you.
Phillip Leonard
Hi Phillip,
Answers:
- Yes, for the single pulley system/ with shims, $15
- Remote filter adapter with lines, $50
- Holley carb is the 4 barrel type that fits most BOP aluminium V8, $200
I'll be going stateside in a few days. If you really want them please let me know in a few days so I can throw them in my luggage to reduce the shipping cost.
Thanks for inquiring.

Phillip, Here's the latest. I have the remote adapter and the pulley with me but the carburetor is in Anchorage. I've just been re-routed through Okina then over to Travis in California, essentially overflying Anchorage. I should get back up there in a few days. I'll ship the adapter and pully as soon as I can and the carb as soon as I get back up to Anchorage. Thanks.
Arayan
Arayan,
No problem.
I hope you have safe flights.
Please let me know when you have shipped. I will pay you via Paypal over British v8.org.
Best regards.
Phillip Leonard
Thanks. I need your address also.

In Calif now will ship the adapter and pulley tomorrow. I still have to go and get the carb from Anchorage. Got the paypal. Thanks.
Arayan
Phillip,
Adapter and pulley were shipped yesterday.
Thank you, Arayan.
Phillip G
Arayan,
The remote oil filter adaptor and the pulley arrived today.
Thank you very much.
My SCCA RV 8 GT 2 project is moving right along, thanks to your help and the help and great advice from the contributors of the www.britishv8 web site and Curtis Jacobson. Discovering this group is like having a whole crew list at an SCCA club race !
Phillip G
Glad it all got there. Still bouncing around all the airbases along the Pacific rim and yet to touchdown in Anchorage. I'll send it out as soon as I can get to it.
Arayan
Thanks, Arayan,
My The 3.5 Rover engine project for an SCCA GT 2 race car is progressing quicker than expected. Bottom end is together and the cylinder heads and intake manifold are ready.
The Holly carburetor will be the crown.
Let me know.
Phillip G
Your crown is on the way. It might take a bit getting there since I had to send it via surface mail since airfreight was a bit cost prohibitive. Let me know when you get it. Good luck with the project. Don't forget to post the pics.
Arayan
Thank you Arayan,
I will email you when the carburetor arrives.
And, I will post some more photos of the SCCA GT 2 RV8 project as it progresses.
The moderator has already posted some photos of the RV8 project. Check them out. We are now to the point of mocking up the spare block and transmission into the RV8 chassis and the racing block is near completion. I will get some more photos to Curtis, the Moderator.
Thanks again,
Phillip G
Arayan,
No sign of the Holly 390 carburetor yet.
Is there a tracking number for the shipment ? Maybe I could try to track it from Kansas City
Phillip G
Arayan,
The Holly carburetor arrived today !
Thank you.
Phillip G
Arayan,
Do you still have the headers ?
I havae a set of MGB V8 headers I had planned on using on my conversion project, but your fender-thru headers may be an easier fit.
If you still have them could you post a picture and give me your best price ?
Phillip G
Hi Phillip,
It went via ground shipping from Anchorage. Sorry, no tracking number. They did tell me that it might take awhile. Please keep me posted. Thanks.
Arayan
Here you go. The headers are in Thailand however and I'm in US for the moment.
