hi can anyone tell me if a lt77 gearbox serial no/stc/103/4n would do my mgb im doing a v8 conversion with a sd1 rover v8 any info on this would be great thanks

Diane,

The number you mention is not the gearbox ID code but as long as it doesn't have the very short remote lever from a LDV van or jaguar you should be Ok, but can check what the model is by looking at this link.
