I noticed we haven't been systematic about documenting which fuel pumps people use.
So, if y'all will post here or e-mail me with that little bit of info, I'll see that the various How-It-Was-Done articles are amended. Deal?

I'll start. I originally installed a Facet, but it died too young and so I replaced it with a Mallory "Series 70" which I prefer because it's much quieter.
Using a Carter P4070 and a Purolator (Facet) 40106G plumbed in series with a cockpit mounted electric switch (so if the Carter craps out I can switch to the backup on the fly)......credit should go to Jim Stuart for advising me on this setup.
Both these pumps require an adjustable Holley 12-803 fuel regulator set at 4-5psi.
Both pumps have similarly high noise level at idle but are not heard during routine driving.
For my V6 conversion with MPFI I used the original pump from the donor Camaro and modified the MG tank by brazing in the ring from the Camaro tank. I had to rebend and shorten the pickup tubes also. Works pretty good, but I should have added some type of baffle as I get fuel starvation on hard right turns when below 1/2 tank.
I use the Holley Blue pump in mine. No regulator required with the Holley carb.

I use a Ford frame mounted EFI pump (Bosch) from a dual tank equipped F-150, available at junkyards for about $20, along with a Mercruiser spin-on fuel filter with an extended center tube for a surge tank which is fed by an Auto-zone generic low pressure pump with a restricted vent line from the filter mount recirculating gas and bubbles to the main tank. The vent line is brazed into the removable gas tank filler neck. The fuel filter has a plate about halfway down and this limits the reserve capacity. A longer filter without the plate could provide about a quart of reserve but I've not seen a recommendation for such a filter element.
