That's a real purdy car!

I really like the front suspension mod.

Looks like a modded Jag IRS with outboard brakes?

Nice find, Dan.

Title: Re: How do i make it a convertible?

I have a chance to purchase a 1980 tr8 with a buick grand national turbo motor and manual tranny, however its a hardtop & I prefer the lines of the convertible. Has anyone ever done this? What about The windshield frame, windshield, side windows frame stiffining, and availability of the frame for the convertible top ? Any help suggestions and leads for parts would be greatly appreciated.

It would probably be easier to buy the car, buy a stock TR7, swap drivelines, and sell the hard top car.

That one is likely to be spooky fast.

Jim is right.  You can get a DHC pretty cheap, and just do the swap.
