Good going Curtis,
John
Thanks John. The photo looks GREAT!
Incidentally, I've got the board set up to display large photos at 600 pixels wide. (For the most part, the "MG Experience" message board will downsize, store, and display uploaded photos at no more than 500 pixels wide.) Since the photo you uploaded is larger than 600-wide, it shows up with a funny little symbol in its top righthand corner. That's a clue... if you click on the photo you can see it even larger!

Please can I join the MG forum??? Its not a sports car...
Great site - well done Curtis
Socram, MG Magnettes are plenty sporty, especially when they have Rover V8 engines.
Consider yourself "joined" and welcome here!
Thanks! I'll do you a full article when the car is running, hopefully by about February 2008. This site is excellent for the technical articles.
Meanwhile, the progress is charted on my website - there are 19 pages of it so far...

Awesome!
I can't wait to see it. I hope you're taking LOTS of photos. We don't get to see enough Magnette's here, and yours will probably be first in our Newsletter... but my wife and I rode a ferry with a nice Magnette in Scotland this May (photo below.)

I got in site looks great, good job!!!
Now if I can figure out the Avitar?
Joe
Joe, your timing is great because I only JUST NOW got the Avatar "module" working again.
It apparently got messed up somehow over the weekend while I was "testing".
The good news is that I've tested it now with both jpg and gif files, and with both "progressive scanning" (for the jpegs) and "transparent backgrounds" (for the gifs)... seems to work pretty nicely! The only shortcoming of the module is that you have to downsize your own image to 140 x 140 (pixels) or less before you upload it.
