need advice

I am looking at a 1965 etype it is in great shape and runs really well. Now at full temp its oil pressure is 8lb at ideal. Other website say thats normal once you rev past 1500rpm it picks up to 40lb. what do you guys think?

8 lbs sounds pretty low, but it might just  be a faulty gauge. I'd see if the owner would allow you to attach another gauge directly off the engine and check it there to verify the gauge. 40psi above 1500 rpm doesn't sound too bad.
