Or adapt two Holley Sniper 2 gc type EFI's. Maybe with progressive, but distribution may be bad.

"Or adapt two Holley Sniper 2 gc type EFI's"

It's a 2 bbl manifold, James.

I said adapt a Holley Sniper 2 bbl because I am not sure on the flange mounts.

I think "copies" are available ? Big Olds joke, after they killed the 215" Jet-fire, they put ONE, 2GC on the 394" V8, in 64, and air cleaner said Jet-fire, What a shame...

Carl, Discription says twin 2 barrel--doesn't that mean 2 twos? Rochester 2GC Sniper would fit right on with no adapter--that is two of them. These I believe were for dual 2 barrel rochester. I do not know if they were progressive or one to one. I think one to one for distribution.

I think Offy and Edelbrock have both offered twin 2bbl manifolds for 215. Kurt Schley's How-It-Was-Done article reported that he used the Edelbrock version:

QuoteDual Rochester 2-bbl carburetors on Edelbrock manifold. Individual carbs are same as originally supplied on the Buick/Olds 215 low compression 2-bbl engines (except now equipped with .052" main jets and progressive linkage. Choke butterflies removed.)

Unfortunately, I didn't take very good photos of it when I had the chance - at the 1998 BritishV8 meet in Annapolis.

Yep.

I may have to buy this if I can get two Weber DCNF 40mm or 42mm to fit.
Need to compare bore spread and bolt patterns.

Richard/SIA

Hmm, found some info.

There are early and late version 2GC's.
Mounting and bore differs.
Still looking for bore spacing.
Yes, I did find a source of almost reasonably priced DCNF's.

Does this manifold feed four cylinders from each carb, or is the plenum full length so that all eight cylinders pull from both carbs?
A bottom view would probably make this clear but I have not been able to locate one.

Does this help?

Both Offenhauser made dual 2 barrel carb intakes for Rochester 2GC carbs. The Offenhauser was similar to the EquaFlow 360 (single plane open plenum with short runners). The Edelbrock was a dual plane and the casting was surprisingly similar to the Edelbrock Performer Rover but with the dual carb flanges.

Open plenum, like all of their single plane 215/RV8 manifolds. Single bolt pattern. Art.

WTB Offy Manifold like this one. Is it still available?

roverman

Update, I found it ! It's still for sale.

A thing of beauty, looks like it's been welded. Art.

DiDueColpi

Mercury marine has a 2GC that flows around 350cfm. Two of them would bolt on and give you enough for any RV8
Used them a lot in the old 2bbl limited stockcar days. Tunable for almost anything and cost less than a set of Weber jets.

Two 2bbl manifold pictured, must be Edelbrock, as a dual plane ?
