Where can I get a mounting bracket for my alternator?  I want to mount it on the drivers side of a left hand drive car.  I can't find one here in the UK.   Bracket is for a Rover V8 3.5 sd1 engine.

Do we assume that you have the ubiquitous Rover engine (3.5, 3.9, 4.0, 4.2, 4.6).?....or some other engine?
First place I'd check are the conversion/installations in the "photo galleries" at the top of the page for left hand mount alternators...find an installation that appeals and perhaps 'PM' the owner for particulars.
As a last resort, barring any off-shelf bracket(s) availability, it's possible to fabricate a mounting system without too much difficulty.

Adding to Mike's post, here's the D&D part info.

I have modeled a drivers side alternator bracket for the Rover HRC 2210 heads. It may fit other Rover heads  I sent the step file to Xometry.com where the part was CNC machined using 1018 steel.  I purchase Mild Steel Spacer Bushing 3/4" OD x 1/2" ID off eBay then cut and filed it to the length.  I also have the bolt holes located for the mounting holes on both sides to make your own custom bracket is anyone is interested.  I am using a Delco CS130 for a 1989-1992 Buick Century.  The bushing is 1.856" long.  There is also a support bracket between a water pump bolt and the post on the alternator bracket.

Here is the link to the STEP file.  anyone machining the part will need this
