Very little left of the alpine! Car has full belly pan custom rocker panels, BMW M3 rear suspension, complete Wilwood brakes, rotors, calipers, and hubs, power rack out of a Opel, 347 stroker ford, t56 6 spd. Photos later

Peter, Welcome aboard! I've seen your project on other sites. Quite an inspiration! Check out Peter's build on You Tube! Peter, This site is picture friendly ,too.

Ok check out these pictures, body fits great but had to shave metal off passenger side 1/4 to long compared to drivers side, checked fitment of seats and put the car on race scales 50-50 front to rear 50-50 side to side with me in drivers seat, total weight with a full tank of gas but no interior 1738 lbs. hoping 2100 lbs. when done. picture link,

I would say that looks like pretty much sensational work. Way to go!

Pretty cool build.
I am getting underway with something sort of similar. 60 Alpine, LS1 T56. I am researching rear IRS choices right now before I start to build the frame. What made you choose the BMW rearend?
