My Rover V8 Went To The Show

All Brit Show in Dixon, Ca last weekend.  Took the old '70 P6.  Came home with 2nd place trophy because of an upstart with at least 100K fewer miles and I'm sure his nifty 4 bbl Holley instead of my original stodgy old SUs influenced the judging.  However, damned I'll be before I admit hes prettier than me...!  Heres mine and the competition.

Gotta admit Jim, both are pretty nice looking cars.
I'd have voted for you just because of the sheer willpower required to keep the SU's in tune.
The Holley is for wimps.
The white interior is pretty nice though......

I was there and thought that could have been your car Jim. It looks better in person for sure. I'm glad you made it to the show this year.
