Hi,

I tried to read the whole articles of it, but i'm not to good in english, so there is one thing i don't understand.
Especially the connecting rods, and pistons. Can i use the old ones, or i have to use different (couse the longer stroke).

Thanx

Connecting rods: Yes, used is good. Actually really good. They are forged units and nice.

Pistons: NO. You need new ones to make up the difference in stroke.

Total deckheight (center of the crank to the block top): ≈227.5 mm

Connecting rod length (center to center): 143.75 mm
Buick 300 stroke: 86.36 mm/2 = 43.18 mm

143.75 + 43.18 = 186.93

≈227.5 - 186.93 ≈ 40.5 mm

That is the piston height you need. ≈ 40.5 mm (1.59 in.) compression height for the piston.

By the way, the piston with this compression height must be custom, or i can use different one, specially low compression Range Rover?

Sorry, i have already understand. I found the possible pistons at D&D Fabrications.
