TWR Rover SD1

This is one of the original TWR Rover SD1 Vitesses that ran in the mid 80ies and were very competitive. My friend from Belgium recently purchased the car for racing in the UK & Europe. I hope to learn more about the car over time. It has a Rover V8 with some neat tricks to produce a very exciting track car.

My dad had three of SD1s over the years.  No small accomplishment seeing how only a thousand or so made it here.  I like to think the SD1 is to the TR8, as the Porsche Panamerica is to the 911.
