Got a call from the builder, with good news.  Build is progressing well.  I will need to pick out my guages, but I have no clue on which works.  I can't measure the old ones(out of the country), so can anyone please help?
Thanks,
Marc

Not sure if you bought your gauges yet? I installed Revolution gauges from Speed Hut. 4" Tach - speed and 2-1/16 small gauges. Entire package with wiring and sensors is $750.

Hi Mike,
I was at Jack Reynaud's this afternoon looking at his dash.  I think I'm going to get some 3+3/8 gauges and
put a bezel around them to fit the 79 dash holes.  750 is a bit high for a set of gauges.  Lots around for 250
or so.  Haven't gotten to the gauges yet, so no decision made.

Marc, In the interests of saving time and expense for now, suggest sticking with your stock '79 gauges and perhaps purchasing chrome trim rings to spruce them up, similar to Martyn Harvey's approach here...... makes for a nice looking instrument panel.

Keep your completion date (July in Indy) in focus.....Next year, as a Winter project, you might want to rethink your gauge strategy.

Hi Graham,
They look good, and I probably will take your advice and stick to them for now.  I was in Windsor last week and
there is some progress to report.  Nothing earth shaking, but some things have been done.  Bobby tells me
"not to worry" it will get done for this season.  I'll get some pics the next time I go over there and post them.

VDO makes a 4 inch tach and speedometer at a reasonable price (speedometer is electronic and so works well with late model T-5 transmissions). The chrome MGB gauge rims can be added if desired.

Ran across Autometer Cobra gauges. Not the cheapest but reasonable at e-gauges.com. There were a couple of other manufacturers on the e-gauges site with 4" gauges.
